TYPES OF ROACHES

German Cockroach

German cockroaches are the most common cockroach species. They are considered a domestic insect and are found indoors around the world.

Oriental Cockroach

Also known as waterbugs or black beetles, Oriental cockroaches are a large species of roach that are dark brown or black in color. Females appear wingless and they are known for being found in dark, warm, damp areas.

American Cockroach

The American roach is the largest species of common cockroach and second to the German cockroach in abundance. It is long lived and has a voracious appetite that matches its size. It is an omnivorous and opportunistic feeder that will eat almost anything.

Australian Cockroach

One of several species of peridomestic cockroaches, Australian roaches are the most common cockroach species found outdoors in southern Florida. In cooler climates, they only survive indoors.

Brown-banded Cockroach

As one of the smallest of the invasive cockroaches, brown-banded cockroaches get their name from two light brown bands across their dark brown bodies. They live indoors and deposit over 90% of their egg cases on the upper third of interior walls.

Smoky Brown Cockroach

One of the larger species of cockroach, Smoky brown cockroaches are a warm climate pest, living outdoors and flying near areas where food and shelter are plentiful.

Brown Cockroach

Similar in appearance to the American cockroach, Brown cockroaches are primarily found indoors in cooler climates and have a reddish-brown color with fully developed wings.
